The Control Valve Branch of China Mechatronics Technology Application Association is a national organization in the field of high-end intelligent equipment subdivision. It was established in Beijing in November 2023, aiming to actively guide control valve enterprises to adhere to high-end, intelligent and green development, carry out theoretical calculation research, material application research and structural design research of control valves, organize domestic research and engineering application of high-end control valves, assist control valve enterprises in transformation and upgrading, and achieve intelligent production and digital management.

The first working meeting of the National Control Valve Expert Group and the second council meeting of the Valve Remanufacturing Branch were held in Shanghai on August 3-4, 2024. More than 90 experts and enterprise representatives from petrochemical, nuclear power, universities and research institutes, valve manufacturing enterprises and other fields across the country attended this work conference. With the recommendation of all attending colleagues, Chairman Yuan Pingren of Sichuan Weika Automation Instrument Company was re elected as an expert committee member of the Control Valve Branch of the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association, and fully participated in the special seminars on four major topics: "Basic Theoretical Research and Selection", "Collaborative Research on Special Operating Condition Control Valves", "Internet of Things and Digital Innovation Applications", and "Research on Valve Intelligent Control Technology", thus achieving a deep integration of new quality productivity and control valve production technology.
